Dome and Bullet cameras are 2 types of cameras that are often used in the security world. The name of the bullet camera already says a lot about its bullet-shaped appearance. Apart from the appearance, there are a number of differences.

A bullet camera can be mounted both horizontally and vertically, but has the disadvantage that it is easier to sabotage than a dome camera. The appearance of the bullet camera often has a more deterrent effect, because it stands out more.

The difference here is in the clarity of the image quality both during the day and at night.

Wired security camera:
A wired security camera must be connected to the recorder or possibly a PoE switch with a UTP network cable. Both power and image transfer run via this network cable.
Wireless security camera:
A wireless security camera should be connected to a power outlet with a PoE powerline adapter and not directly to the recorder. Both power and image transmission are sent via the power network.
